![]() Its bright and clear as well and no dead pixels here! Honestly no screen has these specs and is as well priced!

Yep, we've got some on order, but they're all spoken for already, so won't appear on the site for a while !

i've got the vx910 which is exactly the same bar the pixel timing is 16ms, not 12ms.
even so there is no ghosting, the vx912 will be very popular i'm sure.

I just ordered one from Scan. ( out of stock but due in next week)
Can someone tell me if it needs a DVI-I or DVI-D cable. Scan told me i need the DVI-I cable but on the veiwsonic site it says DVI-D. Regards Last edited by PawPaw; 24-11-2004 at 16:50. |

Thanks for the reply. As i understand from Scan it only comes with a D-sub cable. What is also strange it that your 910 is listed on Viewsonic web as Dvi-D.
As you have the product in front of you i believe you to be correct and the web site incorrect. I have no idea of the difference between Dvi-i or dvi-d i just want the correct cable. As to when i can enjoy this new 19" monster depends on when they are back in stock. Again thanks for advise |

so scan actually take the supplied cable out of the box??
the viewsonic website is fairly poor on facts. it shows (or did show) both the incorrect pixel speed and viewing angles. basically:- dvi-i = both analogue and digital signals are carried dvi-d = only digital is carried dvi-a = only analogue is carried as i say, both "i" and "d" will work fine

Wow thanks.
I guess scan must do or have no idea what they are talking about. I will not be happy if i order a cable only to find it does come with one. Anyway at present i have a Flatron 775FT 17" crt so i hope this new TFT will give me a real improvement and also not suffer from ghosting when playing FPS and watching DVD's. Many people have told me to stay away from TFT's because of this but as i have never used one before i have no experience with such issues. I just wanted to upgrade and you and Firelord seem very very happy with it. Regards |
